DAVID GANDARA ACTIVATED OFF INJURED RESERVE

Jeremy Beirnes placed on season-ending IR

MACON, GA – The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs have announced that forward David Gandara has been activated from injured reserve and forward Jeremy Beirnes has been placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Gandara returns to the active roster after missing each of Roanoke’s last 20 games. Over 33 games played during his rookie season, he has five goals and ten assists. Gandara last suited up for the Dawgs during a 4-3 overtime win on February 3 in Pensacola.

Beirnes’ season ends after 16 games played with one goal, two assists, 84 penalty minutes and a team-leading eight fighting majors.

The Rail Yard Dawgs hit the ice for their penultimate game of the regular season on Friday night against the Macon Mayhem. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:35 PM at the Macon Coliseum.
