ZACH TATRN ACTIVATED OFF INJURED RESERVE

Dmytro Babenko placed on waivers

ROANOKE, VA – The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Monday that center Zach Tatrn has been activated off injured reserve. Additionally, forward Dmytro Babenko has been placed on waivers.

Tatrn has appeared in 10 games for Roanoke this season with a goal and five assists. He missed five of the first six games with an injury, returned to action for nine games and now has missed Roanoke’s past 15. The 26-year old played in 33 games for the Dawgs last season and finished with 14 goals and eight assists.

Babenko had played 27 games for the Rail Yard Dawgs this year with two goals and four assists.

Roanoke returns to action on Friday night on the road in Macon, Georgia against the Macon Mayhem. Puck drop at the Macon Coliseum is scheduled for 7:35 PM. The Dawgs then come home for Super Hero Night against the Birmingham Bulls on Saturday night at 7:05 PM.
