Mike Moroso, Mitchell Mueller placed on waivers
ROANOKE, VA – The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs have announced that defenseman Matt Chiarantano has been placed on season-ending injured reserve and that forward Mike Moroso and defenseman Mitchell Mueller have been placed on waivers.
Chiarantano has not played in a game since January 7. In eight games with the Rail Yard Dawgs he scored one goal and dished out three assists.
Moroso had been on the Roanoke roster since opening night, playing 36 games with eight goals and nine assists. Mueller joined the team on December 30 and spent 26 games with Roanoke, notching three goals and three assists.
The Rail Yard Dawgs will return to action on Friday night against the Huntsville Havoc. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM CST at the Von Braun Center.
