GAME 21: DAWGS VS. HAVOC NOTES, STATS, BROADCAST INFO

The Rail Yard Dawgs also announced on Friday that defenseman Sean Leonard has been activated from the injured reserve, while defenseman Stephen Alvo has been placed on the 14-day injured reserve.

Leonard is in his third season with the Dawgs, but hasn’t appeared in the past 14 games for Roanoke. In 51 games over parts of the past three years for the Dawgs, Leonard has three goals, 17 assists, 274 penalty minutes, and a plus-10 rating. The five-foot-ten defenseman has also spent time in the ECHL over the past two years, notching a total of 11 assists and 185 penalty minutes in 57 combined games with the Norfolk Admirals and the Jacksonville Icemen.

Alvo is in his fifth professional season and second year with the Dawgs. This season, the Withrow Park, Ontario native has one goal and six assists in 19 games played for the Dawgs. Last season, the five-foot-eleven blue-liner tallied six goals and 16 assists in 47 regular season games, while also notching one goal and eight assists in the President’s Cup Playoffs. Alvo last played on December 23, and will be eligible to come off of the injured reserve on January 7.
