ROANOKE, VA – The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Tuesday that Noah Finstrom has signed a contract for the 2026-2027 season.
The New Baltimore, Michigan native returns to Roanoke for his second season with the Dawgs. Finstrom first joined the team in November 2025 after spending six games with the Knoxville Ice Bears. The five-foot-ten forward appeared in 35 games last season, recording 12 goals, 12 assists, 19 penalty minutes and a plus-7 rating. Finstrom also suited up for six games during the 2025-2026 President’s Cup Playoffs, adding two goals and one assist.
Prior to joining the Dawgs, Finstrom began his professional career with the Huntsville Havoc during the 2024-2025 season. He recorded eight goals, 13 assists and a plus-6 rating before being traded to the Knoxville Ice Bears in February 2025. Finstrom appeared in 10 games with Knoxville, tallying one goal and three assists.
Roanoke will host the Fayetteville Marksmen to kick off the 2026-2027 season on Friday, October 16, with puck drop set for 7:05 P.M. Season tickets, ticket packages and group tickets are on sale now through the Rail Yard Dawgs front office. Single-game tickets and parking will go on sale Wednesday, September 16, through the Berglund Center box office and online.
