DAWGS SIGN BEAUDOIN FOR 2026-2027 SEASON

ROANOKE, VA – The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Thursday that defenseman Olivier Beaudoin has signed a contract for the 2026-2027 season. 

The Sherbrooke, Quebec native will return to Roanoke for his third professional season, second in Roanoke. Beaudoin signed with the Dawgs at the beginning of the 2025-2026 season where he appeared in 22 games, securing three goals, seven assists and 51 penalty minutes. 

Prior to the Dawgs, the six-foot-two defenseman began the 2024-25 season with Saint-Georges-de-Beauce COOL-FM, where he recorded one goal and three assists over eight games. Midway through the season, he made the move to HC Venom, adding five goals and four assists in 26 appearances. He also spent time with the Carolina Thunderbirds, suiting up for 10 games. 

Roanoke will host the Fayetteville Marksmen to kick off the 2026-2027 season on Friday, October 16, with puck drop set for 7:05 P.M. Season tickets, ticket packages and group tickets are on sale now through the Rail Yard Dawgs front office. Single-game tickets and parking will go on sale Wednesday, September 16, through the Berglund Center box office and online.
