BALAZS GOZ CALLED UP TO ECHL NORFOLK
Defenseman to make his ECHL debut
ROANOKE, VA – The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Saturday that defenseman Balazs Goz has been called up to the ECHL’s Norfolk Admirals. It is his first career appearance in the ECHL.
Goz joined the Rail Yard Dawgs on November 30 and has appeared in 10 games with one assist. A native of Miskolc, Hungary, he spent the last three seasons for DVTK Jegesmedvek Erste Liga, a European professional league in Hungary, Romania and Austria. In the 2016-17 season Goz registered two goals and 12 assists over 37 games played. During 210 career games in Erste Liga, he has recorded 12 goals and 44 assists.
Roanoke returns to action on Saturday night at home against the Fayetteville Marksmen. Puck drop at the Berglund Center is scheduled for 7:05 PM. The first 750 fans through the door will receive a Rail Yard Dawgs pint glass. Gates open at 6:00 PM.
